Harmony essentially functions as a private club.  This ensures participants are aligned in their goals & values, fosters belonging & consistent community, and helps pay for required insurance/space/supplies.  Applications are now being accepted!  New Members complete an new member application, interview, safety forms and fee.  Returning members will be invited via email asked to submit only a Returning Member Application & Fee.

Members will be admitted on a rolling basis throughout the year.  Our first official event is a Family Welcome Picnic September 6th 11:30-1:30 at Paulus Park in Lake Zurich.  Cost is $105/household for the year. CREW activities, scheduled park dates, and quarterly family functions (nominal fee) are included as a benefit of membership.

These events are Harmony-run & included in your family membership fee ($105 for 2025-2026).  Attendance at CREW is not mandatory, but the most benefits are gained through regular attendance.  CREW is parent-attended, but NEW this year:  a limited number of drop-off "tickets" will be made available for CREW events.

NEW:  This year we're adding quarterly events to bring out and include the whole family!  Some events carry a small additional per-family fee to cover additional room rental & supply costs.  These events will also give parents an opportunity to participate in the planning and execution of events:  Contact Betsy if you'd like to be included on a particular planning committee for one of our family events!

The deadline for registration for Pathfinders for the full year is August 30th. New students may only enroll to begin attendance at the beginning of each semester. (Sept & Jan)  January enrollees must attend a trial date first semester prior to admission. (Contact us for details).

Choice Academy Classes provide kids an opportunity to create a schedule pursuing their interests from a variety of enrichment classes taught by experienced instructors.  Membership is required, and all our classes include rapport/relationship-building activities weekly, regardless of topic.  In this way, Harmony kids are able to not only build independence and gain new skills, but also grow their bonds of friendship with other Harmony kids through participation.

Registration for Spring 2025 runs April 1 - May 14.   (Session of classes runs Friday mornings May 16-June 6).

Parent-supervised and unstructured 2-hour indoor playtime in the preschool room to give our littlest homeschoolers a chance to make consistent friendships & practice their socialization skills.  We will accept rolling registrations provided space is available.

Looking for involvement that's outdoors and less structured?  We've created a schedule of off-site meetups for members throughout the year--weekdays & locations vary.

Programming will run on Tuesdays from Sept-May, with regular breaks between sessions. See our calendar for an overview of our plans.

Pathfinders, Choice Academy, and CREW are open to teens 13-14.   Teen Study Center opens this year to offer community opportunities for tweens & teens who seek community without structured courses or activities.
