Interested in getting involved at Harmony Center for Homeschoolers? Begin by applying for membership.
Harmony is a private organization. Membership is required for program registration & participation and costs $105/household for the academic year ($25 for Preschool Only). Students interested in trying a six-week quarter of Choice Academy Classes may defer their membership fee until second quarter to try Harmony without committing to a full year of membership.

WELCOME MEETING
At this time, we will contact you by email to schedule a Welcome Meeting (via Google Meet). This is a chance to learn more about Harmony, ask your questions, discuss next steps, and talk about our approach, values, and community. Before finalizing membership, this conversation helps ensure that Harmony is the right fit for your family and that we are able to support your family’s needs well.

*Preschool Only Membership is a limited option for families whose children are 4 and under, and who only wish to participate in preschool program enrollment without CREW, Family Events, etc.). This can be changed to a family membership with full benefits at any time.
*Membership Deferment: Interested in trying Choice Academy without risk? Just select "Defer my membership" when applying. No membership fee will be required until you decide to return for another quarter!
Membership requirements

Must be a homeschooling family--that is, you homeschool at least one child living in your household (16 years old or younger; part-time or full-time)

Must sign an agreement to uphold Harmony Tenets

All membership applications are subject to approval/denial based on applicants' ability to meet membership requirements
Why Memberhips?
Memberships serve a few purposes:
a. Anyone participating in our program needs to be covered by the insurance policy paid for by membership fees.
b. For security and safety of our facility and members, we want to know exactly who is on the property and when. Members will wear name tags and sign in and out.
c. We want to create a true community feel, with people you recognize, whose names you learn, and whose presence you can rely on as your community of support, as opposed to just a collection of strangers passing through. Membership keeps people engaged which gives everyone the opportunity to forge bonds & relationships.
e. Members who are committed enough to the center to pay for it are more likely to treat the facility with a sense of pride and ownership as well--a home away from home, but it also ensures fairness with financial "burden" distributed among members to pay for the use of the space.
h. Crucially, Membership also pays for administrative costs for rental fees, organizing classes, materials and supplies, recruiting teachers, support staff salaries, running background checks, services like software, payroll, etc. (Costs typically covered by an "administration fee.")
